Discount Types

When creating a new promotion, first choose the type of discount to apply:

Deals

Deals are automatically applied to eligible orders at checkout — customers do not need to enter any code. Use Deals for blanket discounts such as Happy Hour pricing or category-level markdowns.

  • Best for: Automatic, time-based, or condition-based discounts
  • Customer action required: None

Vouchers

Vouchers are personalised discount codes assigned to specific customers or customer groups. They can be distributed via email or push notification through Customer Communications.

  • Best for: Targeted retention offers, birthday rewards, win-back campaigns
  • Customer action required: Apply voucher at checkout

Promo Codes

Promo Codes are shareable codes suitable for marketing campaigns, social media posts, and partner promotions. Anyone with the code can apply it at checkout.

  • Best for: Marketing campaigns, social media, influencer partnerships
  • Customer action required: Enter code at checkout
