Reviews and Ratings

Reviews and Ratings lets you track and analyse customer feedback on orders. The page has four sections — Overall Ratings, Feedback Summary, Service Performance, and Item-Level Feedback — each of which can be individually enabled or disabled.

⚠️ The Reviews and Ratings feature must be activated before any data will appear. If you see the message "the rating feature hasn't been activated yet", go to Settings > Performance Management > Order Ratings to enable it.

How to Access

Click Reviews and Ratings in the sidebar under Monitor Your Performance.

Filters

Use the filters at the top of the page to narrow your view:

  • Outlet — Filter to a specific outlet or view all outlets
  • Order Type — Filter by order type (e.g. All, Pickup, Delivery, Dine-In)
  • Time Period — Choose a preset period such as Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, or a custom range

Overall Ratings

This section shows the aggregate customer rating for the selected filters:

  • Average Rating — The mean star rating across all rated orders
  • Star Breakdown — A bar chart showing the count and percentage of 1-star through 5-star ratings

Feedback Summary

A trend chart showing how the volume of customer feedback has changed over time. Use this to see whether your ratings are improving or declining, and whether specific events (e.g. new menu items, staff changes) correlate with shifts in feedback.

Service Performance

A chart that tracks service-related feedback specifically — useful for understanding whether operational factors (speed, accuracy, packaging) are affecting customer satisfaction.

Item-Level Feedback

A breakdown of ratings by individual menu item. This helps identify which products are well-received and which may need attention.

Enabling and Disabling Sections

Each of the four sections has a Disable button in its top-right corner. Click it to hide a section you do not need. Hidden sections can be re-enabled at any time.

📌 Activating ratings does not retroactively collect feedback. Data will only begin accumulating from the date you turn on the feature.
